A section of Rujjwal's Notebook
A reflection on love
When you want to include somebody in your heart and life, you have to make room for them, and that means being willing to give up a piece of yourself. So when you're willing to lose a part of yourself to include someone else in your life, that's what I'd call falling in love.
True love can't be a transaction, a simple give and take. A marriage can slip into that. But love itself is different: it's giving yourself up completely for someone, without asking or expecting anything back. That, to me, is true love, something close to a pure, white light form of love. It's the kind of love Rumi felt for God.

Grooves, Not Blank Pages
On why we become what we become.
Maybe we are not born as blank pages. Maybe we are born with grooves. Maybe we have free will, but only within a framework that already exists before we begin making choices.
Read the pieceTime begins with movement
Particles, perception, and an epiphany about what time actually is.
Time exists wherever there is a particle, or mass, wherever there is movement. Time begins with that movement, and it ceases when all movement ceases, including thought and perception itself.
